Xi'an Join-in Group Day Tour: Terracotta Warriors & Huaqing Palace
Join a scheduled group departure with other travelers to visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum and Huaqing Palace. This is a join-in group tour, not a private tour: transport and the English-speaking guide are shared with the group. The itinerary is designed for sightseeing, with no forced shopping stops or compulsory shopping purchases.
Booking and confirmation: Checkout submits your booking request. CNTrip will check the requested date, group departure, pickup area, guide, attraction tickets and lunch arrangement before sending the final itinerary or voucher. If the requested departure is unavailable, we'll contact you to discuss the available options and any applicable cancellation or refund terms.
Sample itinerary
- 07:30–08:30: Hotel pickup within the included service area and transfer to Lintong.
- 09:30–12:00: Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum, including the main pits and bronze chariot exhibition where available.
- 12:00–13:30: Chinese-style lunch with bottled drinking water.
- 13:30–16:30: Visit Huaqing Palace, including the historic hot-spring sites and Xi'an Incident-related sites.
- Around 16:30: Return transfer to Xi'an. Exact pickup and return times will be confirmed for your departure.

- Any pickup surcharge for hotels outside Xi'an's Second Ring Road; this will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.

Optional evening show: The Song of Everlasting Sorrow
The optional add-on has a base price of US$50 per ticket and includes one performance ticket plus round-trip transfer for each ticket purchased. Your storefront may display the equivalent in your selected currency. You can choose a ticket quantity independently of the number of travelers on the daytime group tour.
The performance date, showtime, seat category and availability are not reserved until CNTrip confirms them in writing. The daytime tour normally returns to Xi'an around 16:30. For the evening show, CNTrip will confirm the pickup point, pickup time and return drop-off in writing, including whether the evening transfer starts from Huaqing Palace or Xi'an city. Please do not assume the daytime group vehicle will wait or that the evening transfer connects directly from the afternoon visit.
If the requested performance cannot be confirmed, CNTrip will contact you to discuss available alternatives and any applicable refund terms.
How booking works
- Select your preferred date and the number of daytime tour travelers.
- If you want the evening show, select the number of tickets you need; it does not have to match the daytime tour group size.
- You can leave the pickup hotel or area blank. CNTrip will confirm the pickup location with you by WhatsApp or email after checkout.
- CNTrip checks the group departure, pickup coverage, guide, attraction ticket slots and meal arrangement, then sends the final itinerary or voucher. Please wait for this confirmation before travelling to a pickup point.
Visitor information
- Bring the passport or valid ID required for attraction ticket booking.
- Wear comfortable footwear; the itinerary involves extended walking.
- Tell CNTrip in advance about mobility requirements, young children, dietary needs or a child safety seat request.
Changes and cancellations
Changes to group departures, attraction tickets and performance tickets are subject to supplier rules and ticket issuance status. Applicable cancellation and refund terms will be provided with the booking information. If the requested departure or an essential service cannot be confirmed, CNTrip will contact you to discuss the available options.
Service roles
CNTrip coordinates your booking request. The confirmed local operator provides the group transport and guide service. Each attraction and the performance organiser controls admission, schedules, seat availability and onsite rules.
